The Ministry of Higher Education has announced that, following a special decree from the leadership of the interim government, the budget for acquiring 20 jeribs (9.884 acres) of land for the Nuristan Higher Education Institute has been approved.

The ministry explained that the institute has been facing challenges due to the lack of an adequate location for both academic and administrative affairs.

It further stated that the process of locating and purchasing the land will begin in the near future.
