    Ministry of Industry and Commerce: Efforts Underway to Expand Trade Relations with India

    The Ministry of Industry and Commerce has announced ongoing efforts to further expand trade relations with India, emphasizing the pivotal role of Chabahar Port in this expansion.

    According to ministry officials, the annual trade volume between the two countries currently stands at $650 million. To increase this figure, swift measures are being taken, with plans to utilize Chabahar Port to further enhance commercial ties between Afghanistan and India.

    Ministry spokesperson Abdul Salam Jawad Akhundzada stated that India is also keen to expand trade relations with Afghanistan. He added that Kabul has initiated steps to make use of Chabahar Port and is engaged in discussions with India regarding visa arrangements.
