    Ministry of Interior: Security Forces Arrest 23 Individuals in Connection with Various Crimes, Seize Weapons and Ammunition

    The Ministry of Interior has reported that security forces, in a series of separate operations, have arrested seven individuals in Nangarhar for their involvement with 78,000 counterfeit Afghanis, six thieves in Herat, three thieves in Helmand, and three individuals in connection with the production of explosives, along with 13 kilograms of gunpowder, in Balkh province.

    According to the Ministry, security forces from the Helmand Police Command, during a search operation, seized five firearms, 26 two-way radios, and various military equipment in the areas of the first security district of Lashkargah, the provincial capital.

    The Ministry further added that one individual has been arrested in connection with the seized weapons and ammunition.
