    Ministry of National Defense Rescue Team Saves Eight-Year-Old Boy from Deep Well in Helmand

    The 215 Azm Corps reported that a rescue team from the Ministry of National Defense successfully saved an eight-year-old boy who had fallen into a deep well in Helmand province.

    According to the statement, the child fell into an 80-meter-deep well in Nawzad district. After several hours of continuous efforts, the rescue team was able to bring him out alive.

    The child’s health is reported to be stable, though he was transferred to a healthcare center in Nawzad district for further treatment.

    The Ministry of National Defense’s rescue team has previously provided timely assistance in similar incidents across various areas of Helmand and Farah provinces.
