The Minister of Hajj and Religious Affairs, Sheikh Noor Mohammad Saqib, said during the “Government in the Mirror of the Media” program that AFN 266,400 had been collected from each pilgrim to cover the expenses of the 1447 AH Hajj.
He added that, after the completion of the Hajj process, the actual expenditures were lower than the estimated costs, resulting in a remaining balance of AFN 3,223 for each pilgrim.
According to the minister, the remaining amount will be refunded to the pilgrims.
