The Ministry of Public Works has announced that from the beginning to the end of the solar month of Sawr in the current solar year 1405, a total of 1,300,821 metric tons of goods were transported through the country’s railway network.
According to the ministry, the largest volume of transportation was carried out through the Hairatan Port, amounting to nearly 689,000 metric tons.
Based on information released by the Ministry of Public Works, part of the transported goods consisted of exports, totaling 4,246 metric tons.
The ministry stated that in the year 1405, the volume of railway transportation reached 1,003,821 metric tons, representing a threefold increase compared to the previous year.
The Ministry of Public Works said it is working to provide more facilities and improve services for the transportation of goods through the railway network.
