    Nearly 150 Dead in Boat Capsize in the Democratic Republic of the Congo

    At least 148 people have been confirmed dead after a boat capsized in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, according to a Reuters report.

    The vessel was carrying approximately 500 passengers, including women and children.

    Authorities have reported that hundreds are still missing, while 100 survivors have been rescued and taken to the hospital.
