    Over a Thousand Afghan Families Returned from Iran and Pakistan Yesterday

    The High Commission for Addressing Refugee Issues has stated that 1,046 Afghan refugee families returned to the country from Iran and Pakistan yesterday.

    According to the commission’s information, the total number of individuals in these families is 6,185, and they were forcibly deported from the mentioned countries.

    In a statement, the commission said these refugees returned through Islam Qala, Spin Boldak, Nimroz’s Silk Route, Torkham, and Bahramcha in Helmand province.

    The source added that, in addition to initial aid, transportation and other necessary services were also provided to the returnees.
