Pakistan and Its Proxy Groups; The Fire Will Consume Pakistan Itself

The pages of history bear witness that those governments which have created, funded, trained, or sheltered proxy groups to achieve their political goals have ultimately paid a heavy price for this policy. When a government pursues its own and foreign objectives thru proxy groups instead of its own power, it actually sows the seeds of insecurity and crisis instead of peace, stability, and good neighborliness. Considering the events of the past few decades in the region, Islamabad still sees the support of proxy groups as part of its strategy, a policy that has not only harmed its neighbors but has also put Pakistan’s future at serious risk.

Ustad Yaser was explaining the politics of Pakistan very well with an example. He would say: If a thug calls someone and says, “We will come, beat your son in your house, and kill him!” You know what he replies: “No, no, don’t bother! I will kill him myself.” If we search for an example of an ideal proxy government in the world, many critics consider Pakistan’s politics to be a prime example of this definition.

ISIS is a major and dangerous project aimed at suppressing the Islamic Ummah and neutralizing the newly emerging jihadist thot in the modern era, initiated by the West. It is presented to the Ummah in such a way that it seems the West wants to eliminate ISIS, but the ground reality is different. Pakistan, which pursues foreign agendas day and night, secures its politics, economy, and sustainability thru this path. It has also worked on training and maintaining ISIS fighters, threatening the region and the world from this angle.

The Afghan government has repeatedly proven that Islamabad trains ISIS operatives on its territory, provides them with resources and facilities, and has targeted ISIS centers and killed key leaders multiple times. The world and the region have become aware that the ISIS group currently has deep roots in Asia and who stands behind them!

The Afghan government has recently shared information regarding the protection, maintenance, and centers of those militias by Pakistan, and has also targeted their centers under the control of the military regime. These are the same Arbakai who emerged as a group during the dark period of the Republic in Afghanistan, a group composed of the wicked, immoral, oppressed, and largely drug-addicted members of society. The nation was suffering from their oppression, atrocities, and misdeeds, but now they are being encouraged by the military regime to repeat the past.

Pakistan, more than ever, is now working on maintaining proxy groups, especially training and supporting ISIS and wicked Arbakai militias, which is a blatant and open attempt to harm other countries. Building training camps and centers for the enemies of a nation, country, and people within one’s own territory and participating in the harm of another country is a fire that one day they themselves will burn in. History has proven that any country that fuels the fires of proxy groups will not remain safe itself. One day, this fire of proxy wars will also engulf it.
