Afghanistan entered the fifth year of its freedom on the last twenty-fourth of Asad this year, and the passage of this relatively long period indicates the reality that Afghanistan has achieved stability during this time and has been able to make optimal use of all available resources for development, improvement of the situation, and rectification of the past.

On the other hand, it must be acknowledged that the fleeing opponents have spent the worst and most divisive period of their lives in various countries during this time, regressing day by day compared to previous days, and their supposed unity has become more scattered and their ties more frayed.

It is also worth mentioning that over the years, countries around the world have faced two options regarding Afghanistan: one is to strengthen relations with the current government and take advantage of its economic and commercial opportunities, and the other is to support and back the fleeing opposition and gamble on uncertain outcomes, which at best would be futile results.

What has clearly emerged in public decision-making during this period is the choice of the first option by countries around the world, especially neighboring countries; that is, countries have come to the certain conclusion that choosing bilateral cooperation and standing on the positive side of the issue will be 100% in favor of their national and international interests. Now, the time has come to end the attempts to achieve something and gain profit thru deception and trickery and by being on the despised and dark side of the issue.

This issue has caused the fleeing opponents to scatter under the names of various parties and organizations, visiting every alley and street to seek support, only to be met with closed doors and the heavy shadow of darkness looming over them.

But it should not be forgotten that despite all the existing dead ends facing the fleeing opponents and the continuous regression of their propaganda activities, only one country has been willing to continue playing the role of supporter alongside the fleeing opponents and, like a cunning fox, use the members of the opposition as sacrificial agents, disruptors of internal security, and advance guards of political goals.

There is no doubt that with this explanation, the only name that comes to mind is Pakistan, a country that has always tried to exploit Afghanistan’s resources like a raging and flowing river for free and play with them according to its own desires and preferences.

In the meantime, although the opponents consider this support to be in their favor and seem to have made progress in their record, in reality, they do not realize that they are sinking into a quagmire where they themselves are the only losers and dead. Pakistan will only appear to stand by them as long as it is certain that its presence is beneficial and it can have a foothold in Afghan soil.

Beside, this cunning fox never resorts to support and backing, and throughout its proximity to Afghanistan, no good has come from it. How can it be rationalized that a country like Pakistan, which has always been at the forefront of scheming and plotting against Afghanistan and has confronted the very opponents who were once in power, is now willing to defend those same individuals under a different title and move forward alongside them in full support!?

This question has no answer other than that Pakistan is always pursuing its own goals and causing harm to Afghanistan by any means, even by using defectors from within, and it is never satisfied with the possibility that if there is even a one percent chance that the opposition might gain an advantage, it would be pleased and praise the opposition. Instead, it wants every success and every advantage for itself.

This is the same corridor that the fleeing opponents have overlooked and are unwilling to accept this reality and come out of Pakistan’s embrace.
