The killing of a militant opposition commander named Haseeb Quwai-e-Markaz and the capture of his associates was not only the loss of an important militant for the so-called resistance group but also the closing of a major chapter of insecurity across the country. Haseeb was the commander of those mercenaries who mostly harmed the morale and psychological security of the people under the guise of the so-called resistance. With his death, the chain of deceived members of the proxy resistance group was broken, who had been coming and going to the country for destructive activities over the past five years, but each time they would return empty-handed from the region.
It is common that when the main leader of a group is removed, the entire group becomes paralyzed and the group faces a long-term void; the so-called resistance group is now in such a state. Haseeb was a piece of theirs whose name had been tarnished, hated by the people, and loathed by many. In a rare move, his killing and the capture of the remaining members proved that the continuation of such proxy groups is impossible, as they fight for foreign interests. In reality, this marks the beginning of the ultimate failure of the group known as the Resistance.
But another noteworthy aspect is Haseb’s connections with intelligence agencies across the Durand Line. He, who was sent from Pakistan to this side for subversive activities and propaganda purposes, clearly showed that the resistance and several other opposing groups are supported by foreign intelligence organizations. With the elimination of Haseeb, a proxy fighter has not been killed, but the sinister objectives of the ISI and other foreign intelligence circles, who see their interests in the instability of Afghanistan, have also been thwarted.
But beyond all this, the most direct and significant benefit of this incident reached the common people of the country. The burden of someone whose dark deeds of tyranny, oppression, usurpation, and abduction were recorded in the minds of the people was lifted from the shoulders of the public. For years, such individuals, under the force of national security and other organizations, pursued their sinister agendas under various covers and took peace from the people. Today, with his death, a heavy burden was lifted from the shoulders of the people forever.
This incident also sends a very important and direct message to other opposing groups and foreign war planners, which is that the country is no longer a safe place for proxy players’ activities. Anyone who thinks they can create chaos here with the help and training of foreign intelligence organizations should also accept that it will come at the cost of their own life.
With the killing of Haseeb, it will be proven to all opposing groups that their paper heroes will always be unsuccessful and targeted before achieving their goals; otherwise, it is already known to all opponents that the proxy soldiers stationed abroad are killed and removed from the scene due to their internal conflicts and distrust. The leaders of the so-called groups of Massoud, Zia, and others lack capacity, openness, and mutual trust, which is why their few misguided mercenaries are being removed from the scene day by day, and their imaginary groups are taking steps toward inevitable failure.
