Reports received by Voice of Hindukush from the Tank area of Kurram district in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa indicate that Pakistani Taliban fighters ambushed a military convoy early this morning. The attack left four soldiers dead—identified as Amir, Akram, Jaber, and Suleman—while eight others, including Irfan, Nasir, Hassan, Masood, Rahmatullah, Murad, Nasr Khan, and another Suleman, sustained injuries.

According to sources, the bodies of the dead soldiers and the wounded were airlifted from the area by military helicopters due to security concerns.
