The Pakistani Taliban announced that their forces killed a Pakistani soldier yesterday afternoon in the “Mumi Kara Matay” area of Badr District using a Dragunov rifle.
In a separate statement, the group claimed responsibility for another attack today in which they killed a Pakistani police constable at the Tatar Khail Bypass in Bannu District. The Pakistani Taliban reportedly seized the constable’s weapon.
It is worth noting that the Pakistani Taliban have significantly increased their attacks on the Pakistani military and security forces in recent months.
