Iran’s Tasnim News Agency reported that the U.S. Department of War (Pentagon) reported that 18 U.S. soldiers have been killed and 624 others wounded since the conflict with Iran began.
The Pentagon’s latest figures show that Iranian attacks over the past two weeks alone killed four U.S. soldiers and wounded another 140.
U.S. officials insist the figures accurately reflect the military’s casualties. Iran, however, has repeatedly rejected the official toll, claiming the actual number of U.S. casualties is significantly higher. According to Iranian officials, more than 200 U.S. soldiers have been killed.
