Local sources in the Qala Saifullah district of Balochistan province told Voice of Hindukush that fighters of the Pakistani Taliban Movement carried out a targeted attack in the area, resulting in the killing of a Levies police officer, identified as Ishaq Khan Mirzai.
As of now, Pakistani local authorities have not issued any statement regarding the incident.
It is worth noting that, in addition to this attack, the Pakistani Taliban also launched deadly attacks against military and police forces in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa earlier today.
