After the leaders of the opposition groups of the caretaker government lost several important figures and high-ranking forces against this government, they hold meetings and gatherings every year on the anniversary of their deaths.
On this occasion, in recent days, the “Freedom Front” held a meeting to commemorate the anniversary of the killing of Akmal Amiri, one of its senior commanders, and his companions, in the city of Vienna, Austria.
But what is noteworthy is that the mercenary and power-hungry leaders trade in the name and blood of their commanders. They are so immersed in their desire for power that they even exploit the anniversary of their own people’s deaths as a tool for their power-hungry campaigns.
But what is highlighted in these meetings is the invitation to others to follow the path where Akmal Amiri and his companions were sacrificed two years ago, and now the market for advertisements and campaigns of these groups is thriving in the same manner.
They call on others to oppose the caretaker government while their own children and relatives live in comfort and ease in Western countries; yet, by inciting ethnic sentiments and ignorant prejudices, they seek to send the youth of the people to the mountains and valleys to become victims of their nefarious goals and their own future generations.
The people and youth of Afghanistan must understand that these bankrupt figures have never been and will never be concerned for them. Their false tears and voices of sympathy are an attempt to deceive you and destroy your future. Their goal is to make people accustomed to being sacrificed for their personal agendas, to place their own children in leadership positions, and to turn the children of other nations into soldiers for their own children; something we have witnessed in the past twenty years as well.
They exploit every opportunity and occasion, even the memorial services for the deceased, to lead you to the altar of their goals. They are neither mourners for your dead nor sympathizers with the people; they are only concerned with their own power.
