The Price Control and Anti-Hoarding Commission held a meeting in anticipation of the upcoming holy month of Ramadan. Discussions focused on preventing the sale of goods at inflated prices, strategies for importing from neighboring countries, and fluctuations in the Afghani currency against foreign currencies.
It was decided that officials will continuously monitor pricing to ensure citizens can procure necessary items at reasonable prices and satisfactory quality.
This commission, comprising various government agencies and representatives from trade unions, will assess market conditions, formulate a new pricing list, and publish it upon approval.
