As long as the false authority of the republic was in power in Afghanistan, various groups operated under different titles. Each of them, by receiving financial and credit support from foreign governments and providing guarantees to implement any kind of plan in Afghanistan, were engaged in anti-national activities, filling their own pockets while benefiting foreign powers at the expense of the nation.
But the reason why the government did not confront them or why no case was registered in their name to prevent their deviant activities and it was not brought to court, is due to the alignment of interests of both parties and the unity of their master, who secured the power of the government and the influence of the groups, while pursuing material goals or greater influence themselves.
All of this was because Afghanistan is a rich and resourceful country that has remained untouched and its resources untapped. Additionally, Afghanistan has a sensitive geographical position in the region, which itself is considered a strength.
During the previous regime, gradually and under the pressure of the occupiers, some places witnessed the extraction of mines and the destruction of historical sites in complete silence, and the country’s important assets were transferred out of the country under security escorts during the dark nights.
All these anti-national activities and silent damages inflicted on the body of the country were based on the personal interests of each group and each official, which had closed the path of truth-telling for them.
Moreover, the one who was in charge and commanding them knew well that by merely filling their pockets and giving them a small share of what he plundered, he could maintain their unity, advance his policies, and keep them together.
As long as it was like this, the situation in Afghanistan continued in the same way; thefts occurred, but no one noticed.
However, once the former government fell and the caretaker government came to power, and their foreign agents and infiltrators fled, it became very difficult for them to sit at the same table, reach an agreement, and move forward unitedly as before, due to the loss of their common interests.
Because neither do they have that old master who kept them together, nor are they themselves thinking of Afghanistan and its oppressed people, to set aside their personal interests and work for a common goal.
This is the reason why meetings are held between different groups, but they yield no results. Each new meeting leads to more fragmentation, disgrace, and weakness among them.
