The renowned anti-Zionist Lebanese activiGeorges Ibrahim Abdallah has been released from a French prison after 41 years of incarceration.
Georges Abdallah was born in 1951 in the Akkar area of Lebanon.
According to reports, after completing his education, he joined the anti-Zionist resistance. Under his leadership, his group carried out five military operations in 1981 and 1982.
The reports add that he was arrested in 1984 during a trip to France, following surveillance by Mossad agents and Lebanese collaborators, on charges of possessing a fake identity card.
According to available information, he was transferred yesterday (Friday) by plane to the Lebanese capital, Beirut.
