The Panjshir provincial office has announced that as part of an ongoing process to recruit 2,000 Panjshiri youth into the National Police, 582 individuals have recently been recruited. The remaining 1,500 positions will be allocated to Panjshiri youth once they receive formal approval from the leadership.

According to the statement, Panjshir Governor Hafiz Mohammad Agha Hakim stated that the Ministry of Interior has assured him of the approval of these 1,500 additional positions. He emphasized that, with the special endorsement of the interim government’s leadership, these positions will soon be approved, enabling more Panjshiri youth to join the police force.

Addressing Panjshiri youth living abroad, the governor urged them not to fall victim to enemy’s propaganda and to return to their homeland, assuring them that they will be provided with suitable employment opportunities.

The statement also highlighted that earlier this year, 600 Panjshiri youth were recruited into the Islamic National Army, with an additional 400 set to join soon.

According to the provided information, among the 582 newly recruited individuals in the National Police, 51 have been appointed as officers, 49 as non-commissioned officers, 474 as soldiers, and eight as civilian employees.
