Reuters has reported that residents of Pakistan-administered Kashmir held large-scale demonstrations in London against the Pakistani regime and raised slogans calling for an independent Kashmir.
It is reported that tensions have escalated in Muzaffarabad and other parts of Pakistan-administered Kashmir due to protests and security operations.
According to reports, clashes between protesters and security forces have resulted in casualties and numerous arrests.
Amnesty International has stated that the suppression of protest demonstrations in Azad Kashmir, internet shutdowns, and arbitrary arrests indicate a deterioration of the human rights situation.
According to the organization’s statement, authorities used force against the demonstrations, and there have even been reports of the use of lethal force.
