Although the world is divided into different geographies, each with its own national and international laws, preventing interference and aggression from other countries, both in internal affairs and foreign policy, the interactions of each country and its internal and border security situation or insecurity still affect regional and neighboring countries.

Pakistan, as a neighboring country to Afghanistan, has unfortunately taken a wrong and misguided path toward Afghanistan in the past year or two, rather than working in tandem and in line with strengthening good relations and establishing economic, trade, and even security ties with Afghanistan.

There is no doubt that Afghanistan has endured a long period of wars and conflicts with global superpowers and has never surrendered, but rather has emerged on battlefields with a raised banner and ground the noses of invaders into the dust.

Throughout all these periods, Pakistan, as a neighboring country, has witnessed all the developments and changes in Afghanistan. It would have been more appropriate for Pakistan, instead of taking the wrong path and obstructing Afghanistan’s progress and development by supporting and siding with fugitive opponents, to have pursued a path of good interaction and shared in the country’s prosperity.

However, what the Afghan people have witnessed in the past year or two is that Pakistan has almost acted as a hostile country toward Afghanistan and has made several unsuccessful attempts at military intervention, resulting in the martyrdom of many civilians.

One of the issues that Pakistan has consistently supported is providing refuge to fleeing opponents and supporting their statements and claims against Afghanistan. However, it is no secret to anyone that fleeing opponents have held back Afghanistan from the heights of progress and development over the past two decades and have plunged it into valleys of despair, hopelessness, and immense suffering.

Now, one of these fugitive opponents residing in America, named Sami Sadaat, has revealed in an interview with a well-known Pakistani journalist that all the unfortunate events and the reason for the prevailing insecurity in Pakistan are the result of Afghanistan’s covert actions – a statement that has no evidence or proof, nor does reason or wisdom accept it.

During its few years tenure, the current government of Afghanistan has based all its efforts and endeavors on the principle that the only the path of achieving fundamental and economic goals is thru good, legal, and bilateral interaction with neighboring countries and the world. Other countries can also obtain investment opportunities in Afghanistan in this way and thru friendly connections.

Just as Afghanistan has not allowed anyone to encroach upon or invade it in the past few decades and has not bowed down, it is now following the same course; it extends a hand of friendship and repels the enemy’s fist.

There is no doubt that in interactions between countries, the first right belongs to neighboring and nearby countries, and they are also given priority; however, Pakistan has taken the wrong path and will never achieve its evil goals.
