Dostum, who is one of the fleeing figures of the fallen republic and currently lives in Turkey, has recently accused the caretaker government again in a meeting with local political and civil activists in Ankara.
In this meeting, he claimed that the Turkic people are allegedly being suppressed under the shadow of the caretaker government, attempting to stir up ethnic sentiments and create a mindset against the government.
Dostum continues to criticize the good relations between Turkic countries and the caretaker government, accusing these countries of “indifference towards the situation of Turkic people in Afghanistan.”
But the reality is that Dostum and other fugitive leaders currently have no effective means to pursue their political and intelligence goals. For this reason, they are trying to implement their plans by inciting ethnic and linguistic conflicts.
On the other hand, Turkic countries have well understood that the caretaker government is the true representative of the people of Afghanistan and has emerged from all segments and ethnic groups of this country. They have realized that the only system in history that has been able to bring all ethnicities, religions, and factions together under one roof with empathy and brotherhood is the current system of Afghanistan; for this reason, they have warm and cordial political interactions with it.
If we look at the history of the past hundred years of Afghanistan, we see that most past regimes, in their initial steps, have suppressed one ethnic group and tribe. The era of the corrupt republic regime itself is a clear testament to this truth, as in every corner of the country, ethnic governments acted independently and committed thousands of acts of corruption, disorder, and even massacres.
If we just turn a page of the history before the republic, we see shocking atrocities that still break the heart of every Afghan upon hearing them; a time when Afghanistan was torn apart after the defeat of the Soviets and the fall of Najib’s government, by these very fleeing figures, and thousands of people were killed simply for belonging to a party, tribe, or faction.
Dostum, who today wants to defame the caretaker government, is one of those criminals whose hands are stained with the blood of thousands of innocent people.
But with the establishment of the caretaker government, thank Allah, all the chaos, injustices, and feudal rule were eradicated, and every individual in this country achieved what they had longed for: “security, justice, and the end of ethnic and personal rule.”
The Turkic and Uzbeks of Afghanistan, who form one of the major ethnic groups of this land, contrary to Dostum’s claims, are not only not suppressed, but also have an active role in the structure of the Islamic system and bear part of the administration of the government.
However, enemies who seek to stoke the flames of discord among the ethnic groups of Afghanistan with their decaying ideals will never tolerate national unity. Therefore, they always strive to launch sinister plots, hurt the feelings of the Afghan people, muddy the clear waters of national solidarity to fish in their own favor, and create a rift between the nation and the government.
