A conference named (Vienna Fifth) was held in the Austrian capital, Vienna, on the 18th and 19th of this month, in which several opposition figures, including Ahmad Massoud and Yasin Zia, participated.
This conference faced reactions from numerous politicians and prominent figures both inside and outside the country, to the extent that even the expatriate opponents of the caretaker government showed negative reactions to this conference.
Findings from the Hindu Kush Voice indicate that some important leaders were invited from Turkey to this conference, But based on precise information, even after hours and hours of waiting in Turkey, visas were not granted.
The reason for refusal to grant visas to the caretaker government’s opposition leaders is not clear, but analysts say that some of those who arrived in Vienna a day before the meeting were competing with leaders and officials based in Turkey. They did not want anyone from the Turkey-based individuals to participate in this meeting. These individuals succeeded in sidelining those leaders and securing all the advantages for themselves and their groups.
It is worth mentioning that the fifth meeting, named the Vienna meeting, concluded last Wednesday, in the city of Vienna, Austria, with a result that was, as always, negative and worthless. This meeting was described by prominent media, political and social activists and analysts as another failed attempt to seize power.
