The Syrian Ministry of Interior has announced that the city of Sweida has been cleared of all tribal fighters and that the clashes have completely stopped.
These fighters had arrived in Sweida province from various regions of Syria after attacks and violence by pro-Zionist Druze groups against Arab tribes.
Meanwhile, the head of the Syrian Tribal Council, Abdul Munim Al-Nassif, stated that they are officially withdrawing all their fighters from the city of Sweida.
He emphasized that if the ceasefire agreement is violated by any party, especially by the illegal groups (Druze forces), the tribes’ response will be severe.
It is worth noting that the conflict in Sweida between the Druze minority and Arab tribes, which later also involved government forces, resulted in the deaths of hundreds of people.
