Al-Khabour, a Syrian state media outlet, reported that Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa will visit the United States on June 14 at the official invitation of President Donald Trump. This will be his second visit to Washington since taking office.
The report added that al-Sharaa’s administration has already taken steps to improve relations with Washington, ease sanctions, and join the international coalition against ISIS. It is also seeking to secure international support for Syria’s reconstruction.
