According to Reuters, after three consecutive days of negotiations, Thailand and Cambodia have reached an urgent ceasefire agreement.
The agreement will suspend military operations and allow residents in border areas to safely return to their homes.
The two countries also agreed to collaborate in combating illegal armed activities along their shared border.
