Considering the recent frantic movements, cold markets, disagreements, and intense clashes of the Afghanistan opposition groups based abroad, it seems that these groups, whose temporary alliances were initially tied together by a thread, are now in a disintegration process so rapid and serious that they cannot be hidden from the eyes of the media and the public, nor can their supporters and foreign intelligence agencies manage to reunite them.
They, who at one time work for foreign agendas in Afghanistan under the shadow of the fallen republic, safeguarded foreign interests, and turned themselves into tools for foreign objectives, fled Afghanistan with the fall of the republic. There, in almost every country, they formed numerous groups under various names, combining false pretenses of resistance, freedom, nationhood, and salvation.
Lots of efforts were made to unite them and bring them under one address. Foreign countries, intelligence agencies, individuals, and mysterious groups intervened, and as a result of all these efforts, some temporary and loosely connected alliances were formed, which disbanded within a short period of time. Recently, after the National Assembly for the Salvation of Afghanistan (whose majority leaders are commanders of internal wars and militias) separated from the groups under the banner of Freedom and Resistance, it became even clearer how fragile these alliances are and how quickly they are heading towards collapse.
The head of the executive committee of the mentioned assembly, Omar Daudzai, said that these groups separated from this assembly because they only focused on war, while we believe in a political solution. He added that these groups were previously only nominally part of this assembly, but their priorities were different. Although Daudzai made a significant effort to be diplomatic in his remarks and hide the main image of the deep rifts, severe disagreements, and mutual distrust among them, it still clearly appears from his statement that these groups are so divided that they cannot even unite in virtual and imaginary world, let alone in the practical field.
Moreover, no one in Afghanistan is willing to cooperate with these groups at any cost, because they have brought nothing but decades of sorrow, pain, mourning, war, death, grief, and killings to the Afghan people. These groups have also gambled away their fragile international status, which some countries, entities, and organizations had granted them to protect their own interests.
