After the fall of the republican regime, many high-ranking officials fled to foreign countries, where they formed some fronts and political entities against the caretaker government in an attempt to regain power and make a name for themselves.

The leaders of the aforementioned opposing factions showed coordination for a very short period, but later they accused each other of incompetence, treachery, and espionage, and some joined forces with others while some started playing their own tunes separately.

Among the factions that were formed, one was called the Resistance Front, in which the former vice president of the fallen republic, Amrullah Saleh, has membership. Later, he distanced himself from that faction and formed a separate faction by the name of the “Green Trend.”

Amrullah Saleh, who has long been recognized as a mysterious spy for foreign intelligence agencies, attempted to create a rift between the people of Afghanistan and the caretaker government, disrupt the psychological stability of the citizens, and promote a significant distrust among the people. This destabilization plan, devised by Saleh, included targeting religious scholars, tribal elders, both domestic and foreign employees of foreign institutions, and influential individuals.

When Amrullah Saleh’s plan for destabilization did not succeed against the caretaker government, it revived the old habit of creating conflicts, rivalries, and divisions among the Afghan tribes.

During the electoral campaign of the fallen republic, Amrullah Saleh made a significant insult to the Hazara ethnic group and once stated on an official stage that the Hazara people would be given rights proportional to their noses. This was met with strong public backlash, forcing Saleh to apologize to the Hazara community. Additionally, during the fallen republic, he also referred to the Hazara people as direct spies of Iran.

Recently, the insulting Amrullah Saleh has claimed that a special branch of the caretaker government’s intelligence has been formed against the “Hazara people and Shia religion” to create distance and distrust between the caretaker government and the Hazara people, in order to pressure the Hazara people by breaking their spirit of unity, fear, and justice-seeking.

Amrullah Saleh is trying to defame and isolate ethnic groups on an international level. For this purpose, he issued a statement through the “Green Trend” on the 7th of Sawr this year, which stated: The increase of Pashtuns in Afghanistan is a complex security challenge for Russia and other regional countries with strategic interests in Central Asia.

Amrullah Saleh’s statements come at a time when thousands of Afghan refugees are being repatriated from Pakistan and Iran, and the caretaker government is establishing towns and camps for the refugees in the northern, southern, eastern, and other zones of the country; however, Amrullah Saleh is again propagating for his nefarious goals and seeks to create discord among the tribes.
