Allah has created humans with such strong willpower that when they put both feet in one shoe and insist on an issue, it becomes difficult to dissuade them and turn them back from the path they have chosen.
If it is even possible to turn things around, it requires exorbitant costs, a lot of time, and long patience. This becomes important when one is dealing with people who are so unreasonable that they expect a chicken to lay an egg and a fish to climb a tree.
Rebels are such oblivious and errant individuals that they do not realize they are standing in the wrong part of history, mistakenly committing crimes and atrocities, and only causing disasters in their own lives and subsequently in the lives of innocent people, robbing them of their peace.
In the previous sections of this series of notes, we wrote about the ways and methods to confront the rebels and introduced simpler and easier approaches to deal with them.
That has been discussed in the previous sections can be summarized in the following titles: 1. Epistemology; 2. Revealing truths and exposing false claims; 3. Using media to enlighten public opinion; 4. Comparing the dark past with the illusory future; 5. The lost assets of the rebels; 6. The written history of the rebels; 7. Broadcasting radio and television programs and repealing the hidden truths; 8. Interviewing those who have faced physical, financial, reputational, and other damages from the rebels; 9. Preventing positive propaganda in favor of the rebels and negative propaganda against others.
The last way of counter or the most severe and costly one is armed confrontation and military engagement. When these groups remain steadfast in their illusory goals of destroying their homeland, there is no choice but to confront them with armed resistance and enter the battlefield.
When other methods and approaches fail to work and do not bring the oblivious and ignorant people to their senses, and their vehicle continues to move forward without brakes, a heavier action becomes necessary to eliminate them.
Although the military and warfare option is the last suggestion for confrontation and engagement, it should be resorted to and utilized only after testing all possible methods with the least cost and confrontation.
Because what happens in military wars is the terror, horror, fear, and dread that befall ordinary people, reminding them of the days when the homeland was under occupation.
Now that peace and security have prevailed and no sounds are heard from anywhere, if the sound of gunfire and rocket launches is heard again, even if it is for a short and very brief period, it will still bring back the same sense of fear and dread.
Therefore, this option is placed at the end of the line, and hope and effort should be directed towards using it as little as possible unless the necessity and circumstances dictate otherwise.
