The Ministry of Hajj and Religious Affairs announced that the process of transporting Afghan pilgrims for the 1447 AH Hajj season to Saudi Arabia has been completed.
According to the ministry, the process began on the 28th of solar month Hamal and concluded yesterday (Wednesday).
The ministry stated that this year a total of 30,000 Afghan pilgrims were transported by Ariana Afghan Airlines and Kam Air in 97 flights to the Saudi cities of Jeddah and Madinah.
The ministry also assured that after the completion of the Hajj rituals, the return process of Afghan pilgrims to the country will be carried out in an organized and secure manner according to the scheduled plan.
