The Ministry of Urban Development and Housing stated that the reform plan for the Farah refugee township was approved by the Minister Mawlawi Najibullah Hayat Haqqani, after technical evaluation.
The ministry added that the plan has been developed for the purpose of resettling returnees, organizing urban services, and expanding residential areas.
According to the plan, 4,277 residential plots have been allocated for returnees in the Farah refugee township.
The plan also designates suitable areas for road networks, public facilities, green spaces, as well as educational and health services, along with other essential urban infrastructure.
