In a statement, the U.S. Embassy in Islamabad announced that it has suspended its daily operations due to security concerns and recent incidents in Pakistan.
The embassy added that, given the current security situation, the embassy in Islamabad and the consulates in Lahore and Karachi have canceled all visa appointments until Friday.
According to the embassy, this decision was made due to security concerns, and further information regarding upcoming changes will be shared later.
