According to a report by Reuters, approximately 1,660 Afghan refugees who had been granted permission to resettle in the United States are now facing flight cancellations due to President Donald Trump’s suspension of refugee programs.

The report cites American attorney Shawn Vandiver, who noted that the affected individuals include unaccompanied minors seeking to reunite with their families in the U.S.

So far, neither the U.S. State Department nor the White House has issued any statements regarding the situation.
