The U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed in an interview with an American television network that his political relationship with billionaire Elon Musk has come to an end.
Trump further warned that Musk’s financial support for Democratic candidates could have serious consequences for him.
According to international media reports, Trump is currently considering canceling U.S. government contracts with Musk’s companies as a means of increasing pressure on him.
The tensions between Trump and Musk became public after Musk sharply criticized Trump’s new tax bill, calling it “disgusting.”
