The Chargé d’Affaires of the Turkish Embassy in Kabul, Saden Yildiz, said during a meeting with the Minister of Refugees and Repatriation, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir, that Türkiye has granted work visas to nearly 20,000 Afghans in the livestock sector.
The Ministry of Refugees and Repatriation stated that both sides also discussed the problems faced by Afghan refugees in Türkiye, bilateral cooperation, humanitarian assistance, and Afghanistan’s role in regional connectivity.
The Turkish side said that Türkiye supports a stable and self-reliant Afghanistan and will continue supporting dialogue efforts aimed at resolving Afghanistan’s issues.
Meanwhile, Mawlawi Abdul Kabir expressed gratitude for Türkiye’s cooperation and said that the current security and stability could enable Afghanistan to play a more effective role in regional connectivity.
