According to a report by Sky News, two employees of the Israeli embassy were shot dead on Wednesday evening in Washington, D.C., just meters away from the Jewish Museum and the FBI headquarters.
The source states that American officials have condemned the incident, but have given conflicting statements regarding the arrest or killing of the attacker.
Additionally, Israel’s representative to the United Nations, Danny Danon, expressed deep sorrow and described the attack as a premeditated act against Jews. He also urged the U.S. government to prevent such attacks in the future.
