Sources report that Afghan forces carried out a laser strike in the Trawai district of Paktika Province, near the disputed Durand Line, in response to recent actions by Pakistani military regime. The strike resulted in the killing of two Pakistani soldiers.
According to the information, the Pakistani side attempted to recover the dead bodies of its soldiers, but Afghan forces denied permission to do so.
The report further states that the Pakistani military has repeatedly carried out attacks on civilian homes near the Afghan side of the disputed Durand Line, prompting Afghan forces to target Pakistani soldiers in response.
