According to a statement released by the Ministry of Borders, and Tribal Affairs, a long-running inheritance dispute between two families in Aybak, the capital of Samangan province, has been successfully resolved through the mediation of local officials.

The statement said the dispute began nearly two years ago and had caused serious difficulties for both families.

According to the ministry, officials from the Samangan Directorate of Borders, and Tribal Affairs, in coordination with local elders and community leaders, held several meetings with both sides. The dispute was ultimately settled through a fair and mutually accepted decision.

Following the ruling, both families expressed their satisfaction with the outcome, accepted their respective rights, and pledged to continue living together in peace and brotherhood.
