Under orders from U.S. President Donald Trump, American forces carried out extensive airstrikes on the Yemeni cities of Sanaa and Saada, resulting in the deaths of at least 24 civilians.

According to Yemen’s Ministry of Health, 13 civilians were killed and nine others injured in the capital, Sanaa. In the northern city of Saada, 11 people, including four children and a woman, lost their lives, while 14 others sustained injuries.

Meanwhile, the political office of Yemen’s Houthis condemned the attacks as a war crime and warned of retaliation. In a statement, the office declared: “Yemeni forces are fully prepared to respond to these attacks.”
