American media report that the Trump administration has launched direct talks with the Hamas Islamic Movement in Doha, aiming to broker a deal to end the war and secure the release of American prisoners.

According to Axios, the secret negotiations were led by Adam Boehler, the U.S. envoy for prisoner affairs, in coordination with Qatari officials.

Sources indicate that, so far, the talks have not yielded any practical results, and their outcome remains uncertain.
