U.S. Brokered Ceasefire Reached Between Syria and Israel

Tom Barrack, U.S. President Donald Trump’s special envoy for Syrian affairs, has announced a ceasefire agreement between Syrian President Ahmad Al-Shara and the Prime Minister of the Zionist regime, Benjamin Netanyahu, brokered by Washington.

Barrack made the announcement on Friday, calling on all ethnic and religious groups, particularly the Druze and Sunni Arab tribes, to lay down their arms and live peacefully with other communities under a unified national identity.

He also stated that neighboring countries, especially Jordan and Iraq, have welcomed the ceasefire.

The agreement comes after deadly clashes last week in Syria’s Al-Suwayda province between the Druze minority and Arab tribes. In response, the Zionist regime launched heavy airstrikes on Syrian government facilities, citing support for the Druze as justification.

Following the attacks, President Al-Shara warned that Syria does not fear war with Israel. However, he emphasized that, in the interest of national unity and the broader welfare of the people, Syria would not enter the battlefield.
