U.S. President Donald Trump said that the United Kingdom is “seriously considering” sending two aircraft carriers to the Middle East, but added that the United States does not need them.
Trump stated that the British Prime Minister “damaged” the historically close relations between the two countries when London prevented the United States from using British bases to launch attacks on Iran.
In a post on his social media platform Truth Social, Trump said that he will “remember” Britain’s lack of support during the war with Iran.
