The U.S. Department of State has approved a $16.5 billion arms sale to the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, and Jordan amid rising tensions with Iran.

According to reports, the weapons include drones, missiles, and radar systems.

This comes as the three Arab countries have been under intense missile and drone attacks since the start of the conflict involving Iran, Israel, and the United States.
