Following a meeting with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, U.S. President Donald Trump confirmed plans to sell F-35 fighter jets to India during a press conference.
Trump and Modi discussed various issues, including economic matters, during their meeting at the White House yesterday.
Trump stated that the sale of F-35 jets would position India among the nations equipped with advanced combat aircraft.
In addition, Trump announced that Tahawwur Rana, the mastermind behind the 2008 Mumbai attacks, would be extradited to India. Rana, a Pakistani national, is currently serving a prison sentence in the U.S. for his involvement with Lashkar-e-Taiba.
