The United Arab Emirates Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied reports claiming that part of Iran’s frozen assets had been transferred to Tehran through the UAE.

In a statement, the ministry said reports alleging the transfer of $3 billion from the UAE to Iran are false and baseless.

The ministry also said that no frozen Iranian assets have been released or transferred through the UAE.
