Reports indicate that last night, prominent Pakistani journalist Wahid Murad was abducted from his home in Islamabad. The kidnappers are said to have arrived in government vehicles, dressed in black uniforms and armed with weapons.

Following the incident, well-known Pakistani journalists, including Hamid Mir, Matiullah Jan, and others, have sharply criticized the government, questioning why it is unable to ensure the safety of journalists.

These journalists have also raised concerns, suggesting that the Islamabad police may have been involved in the abduction.

It is worth mentioning that the abducted journalist, Wahid Murad, had previously been outspoken in his criticism of the Pakistani government, particularly in reaction to the arrest of Baloch rights activist Maherang Baloch.
