Wahdat Party leader and member of the Resistance Front’s Supreme Council, Mohammad Mohaqiq, says Pakistan is a powerful country, adding that those engaged in border disputes with it should consider its level of strength.
He further stated that he recognizes the Durand Line between Afghanistan and Pakistan as a recognized border.
In earlier remarks, he also praised senior Pakistani military officials, including Asim Munir, calling him a close brother.
Such expressions of alignment and sympathy toward the Pakistani regime by some leaders and members of the Resistance Front are nothing new. In the past, several figures from different opposition fronts and groups have openly sought support from Pakistan and have attempted to secure projects through Pakistani regime.
