One of the goals of foreign interference, imposed wars, and military and cultural invasions in Afghanistan over the past nearly five decades has been the country’s fragmentation, division, and alteration of its identity. This was widely fueled by colonialism and elements hostile to Afghanistan’s survival, national unity, and progress, who trained their proxy groups and elements and consciously and unconsciously worked towards this negative phenomenon.
This series started a long time ago, but more work has been done on it in the last two decades than ever before. There were many addresses for media, cultural, political, and social institutions that were carrying out this project. At the head of these institutions were a group of biased and sick individuals who were and are not committed to any values of this country. They had extensive financial and political support for this, so they carried out this struggle very well.
They were exploiting people’s emotions and attempting to change and distort the history, name, geography, and borders of Afghanistan, as well as national and Islamic figures, values, and origins. Unfortunately, some others joined these people, consciously or unconsciously, for various reasons, and they received widespread support in the republican regime. They worked to create divisions, animosity, hatred, and opposition between tribes until this series extended to the ministries of the republic, government institutions, and the general public.
People were appointed to the institutions of the fallen republic with the same and even worse attitudes, the parliament was filled with similar individuals and issues, and the disease was worsening day by day, which might have spread widely to the general public if the republic had not fallen. With the fall of the Republic, this evil and dangerous project was also stopped, and this attempt to divide and partition Afghanistan failed. Now, some escaped circles and loops from that series are trying to revive those discussions and sow seeds of distrust, division, and pessimism among the public.
They are now trying to distort and change the Afghan word, the name of Afghanistan, the names of ethnic groups, sometimes religions, and occasionally even Islamic and national values on social media. The people of Afghanistan are first Muslims and then Afghans, divided into different ethnic groups, each of which is honorable. Prejudice and bigotry have no place in Islam, and anyone who does this or supports it is not one of the Prophet’s (peace be upon him) followers, according to the clear hadith of our beloved Prophet.
Those who insult the Islamic values of Afghanistan, the origins of Afghanistan, its original, national, and historical names and figures, are clear enemies of Muslims and Afghans, and it is the duty of everyone to stand against this enemy. In the blessed religion of Islam, no one has any superiority over anyone else. In Islam, superiority lies in piety, and no pious Muslim is prejudiced. Anyone who tries to change the origin and history of Afghanistan is an enemy of all Afghans. They only want the misfortune, division, and destruction of Afghanistan, so they must be seriously stopped or given no value at all.
