The World Bank, in its latest report, has described Afghanistan’s economic situation as improving, noting growth in the past year. According to the report, Afghanistan’s economy grew by 2.5% in 2024, with a projected 2.2% growth for 2025.

Despite a reduction in international aid, the World Bank report highlights that Afghanistan’s economy has shown resilience.

The report is published at a time when the International Monetary Fund (IMF) has issued a new report, stating that Pakistan’s economy is facing a downturn.
